The episode starts out with Sam attempting to talk Michael out of working with Vaughn, Same is annoyed that Michael is working to with the same people that burned him in the first place.  Michael wants to help the burned spy named Jesse Porter, who he accidentally helped to burn in the first place.

Michael finds out from Vaughn that Jesse Porter is looking for the person who burned him which happens to be Michael; Vaughn says he is going to have him taken care of.  Michael tells him not to do it and he would rather work with him instead, Vaughn agrees and gives Michael information to find Porter.  Michael and Fiona break into a PBX phone system to see where Porter is making his calls from, after staging an explosion in typical Fiona fashion they escape with the information.

Michael and Sam get duped into tiling Madeline’s garage, as they were working they hear Porter talking on the phone tap they setup.  Porter is meeting with someone to get information on the person who burned him, Michael and his team stake out the meet to watch what Porter does.  Michael’s team sees that Porter’s informant set him up as there are two strike teams waiting to take Porter down, Sam sets up a diversion to get Porters attention and it works.

Porter makes a run for it and gets away before he can be apprehended.  Michael calls Vaughn to see if he can assist him with resources to find Porter, but Vaughn refuses and tells Michael to deal with it.  Michael heads back to his hideout by the night club only to find that Porter was waiting for him, Michael gets the jump on Porter who tells Michael he is only there to ask him for help.

Porter tells Michael that a kingpin named Khan believes that he owes him $2 million dollars, and that he was hoping Michael had government connections.  Michael tells him he does not have any friends on the inside, and Porter is about to leave when Michael offers to help him.  Porter is reluctant at first, but then accepts Michaels offer, in return if he gets his old job back he will owe Michael.

They devise a plan to take Khan down by have him caught with illegal weapons, Michael gets into one of his odd (and sometimes) bad characters and meets with Khan.  Michael tells him he knows where Porter is, and that he will give them Porter in exchange for guns and cash.  Khan is tempted, but resists and tells Michael to leave as they will deal with Porter themselves.

Michael and Sam come up with a plan to convince Khan to make the deal with Michael, they include Porter in the planning which will make it seem like he and Michael are enemies.  The plan changes a bit when Porter goes off script and starts shooting at Khan, while Michael knocks the fence down and Porters turns putting two bullets through the driver’s seat of Michael’s car as he ducks out of the way.  Michael fires several rounds at Porter as he “escapes” into the woods; after all of those theatrics Khan is convinced and agrees to Michael’s terms for help in catching Porter.

Khan orders the guns for Michael to take down Jesse, and as they are delivered Michael starts to load them into his vehicle so they can go get Jesse out of the bunker.  Khan’s second in charge objects and does not trust Michael to not run off with the guns, instead they load them into their Limo and the sheer weight of the weapons has the Limo scraping the pavement.  Michael warns them that if the cops caught them with those guns it would be all over, but Khan’s second in command insists on taking the guns with them and following Michael.

This is playing out just how Michael planned; as they pass a certain point Sam calls the cops and has them take down Khan’s vehicle.  It looks like everything has gone as planned and Porter now has Khan off of his back , until Michael gets a call from Khan the next day.  Not only did he pull some strings and get out of jail, but he also managed to catch Porter and is torturing him until Michael comes by to make him talk.

Fiona finds information about Khan’s accounts, and they decide to make it appear as if Lee stole the money from Khan instead of Porter.  Michael prints up a coded obituary with the information he wants Porter to convey to Khan as he is interrogated, Michael arrives and slaps Porter for effect.  He then tells Porter he murdered the woman in the obituary, and Porter plays along acting like it is his aunt that Michael murdered.

They then go through and Michael has Porter tell Khan the account was in Antigua, and Michael’s silent cues lead Porter to the account number on the paper.  Once he reveals the account number Khan’s second in command (Lee) goes crazy as it is his account number and pulls a gun on Porter.  Khan pulls a gun on Lee and tells him people die for stealing from him, Lee shoots Khan, and Khan shoots Lee before he dies.  Michael and Porter leave in a hurry have successfully gotten rid of Khan.

Fiona arranges for Porter to live in Madeline’s garage since she has a vacant space, and Michael goes to talk to Vaughn in the meantime.  Vaughn wants Michael to earn Porter’s trust and get him to reveal information about what he was investigating before he was burned, Michael acts like he is going along with it, but is conflicted about what to do.

Michael goes back and asks Porter about what he was working on, and Porter is reluctant to share the classified information.  Michael tells him being burned is a lonely situation and two burned spies working together is a hell of a team, Porter agrees to tell Michael, but has to give him a word of caution first.  Porter says he is going to get his job back some day, and once he does the person that burned him will be hunted down and killed.  Unfortunately that person was Michael Westen even if it was by accident. He asks Michael if he is good with that, and Michael says that is good with him.

It will be very interesting to see how this plays out; Porter is not going to become the fourth member of Michaels team.  But most importantly he is going to find out that Michael was the person that burned him at some point, and what will happen as a result is enough reason to watch the show.
