Sam creates a fake mission file to give to Jesse, so that will get a sense of who may have burned him.  Inside the file they implicate the CEO of Drake Industries John Barrett, Jesse wants to go after him, but Michael decides to play it straight by getting him to come to them.  They call Barrett on his private cell phone, and Michael tells him they have a secret book coded bible.  Barrett acts interested initially, but decides to play the dumb role when they question him further about it.  Michael tells him that the bible is in Miami if he wants to make a deal for it.

Fiona is skeptical of Michaels plan, and Madeline starts to give Michael grief about pulling the wool over Jesse’s eyes.  Fiona and Sam head to meet a new client name Emily, who was seduced by a man named Charles which enabled him to clean out her life savings.  Michael and Jesse in the meantime setup a trap to catch Barrett, they use a cell phone to lure him into their trap and setup a camera to see when he shows up.

Sam and Fiona are watching Charles to gain a bit of information about him, and Sam decides that it is time to bring out his Chuck Finley character.  They head to the same night club that Charles is partying with his latest victim; Sam and Fiona engage him and his date in conversation.  The women excuse themselves to the bathroom, and Sam moves in on Charles and tells him that he is running the same scam.  He also tells him that he needs to run the money from  his scam through Charles’s accounts, but Charles does not bite and tells Sam that he better not see him around again.  When Fiona and his date get back Charles takes off, Fiona is pissed because Sam’s attempted scam failed and she goes after Charles with a gun, but Sam stops her.

Michael and Fiona meet with Emily and they tell her that things did not initially go well with Charles, and that they are going to try a new angle to make him think he lost all of his money.  Sam goes back to the club and gives Charles a peace offering and apologizes for wandering onto his turf, and asks if he can buy him a drink.  Charles agrees and about 20 drinks in Sam puts some drugs in his drink which knocks Charles out for the count, they dump him in his apartment and leave the scene.  Somebody falls into the trap set by Michael and Jesse, but they are unable to identify who he is and he won’t talk.  They lock him up in the warehouse and wait for someone to come looking for them, Michael stands guard while Jesse goes to help Fiona and Sam with Charles.

Sam gets Charles to wake up and he tells him about the wild night that he had, Charles is a bit disoriented and unsure of what happened.  He jumps in his new Bentley that Sam told him he purchased last night, and he heads off somewhere seemingly to check on his money.  Fiona and Jesse follow him to a lawyer’s office where Charles asks the lawyer how was he able to get so much money, the lawyer tells him he has no clue what he is talking about.  A lookout spot Fiona and Jesse outside and go to investigate, in order to evade capture Fiona starts kissing Jesse in a we are more than friends type of way.

Michael confiscates the phone of the man they captured and wait for the call from  his handlers, when the call comes in they tell the person they are sending copies of some of the bible pages back with the man they caught.  The man warns them that they are opening up a big can of worms they do not want to deal with, but Michael and Jesse are not worried.  Jesse and Fiona plan a bug in Charles car and house in order for him to find them, when he does Sam talks to him and acts like he has been conned out of $100,000.00 and he has someone who can fix the problem.  Michael shows up to meet with Sam and Charles and just when they convince Charles to give up the banking information, Charles gets a call from his lawyer who tells him they are going to take out Emily.  Charles is going to skip town and head to Rio to get away from all the heat, Sam calls a last minute audible to deal with the situation.

Fiona arrives at Emily’s place just in time to take out the two assassins’ before they find Emily.  Sam drugs Charles again before he leaves town, and when Charles wakes up the scene is staged to make it look like he killed Emily.  Sam comes driving up and tells him he can have someone fix this for him, they head to meet Michael and see if he can “help” Charles.  Michael tells Charles he needs $1 million dollars to make it all go away, Charles initially scoffs at it, but when Michael threatens to walk away he agrees.  Charles calls his money man and forces him to give him all the money including his share.

The dirty money manager tells Charles he will pay for this, as Charles hands the money to Michael.  Sam and Charles get in a limo to head to the airport (at least that is what Charles thinks), Sam then reveals to him that he drugged him all of those times, and that they are not heading to Rio.  They pull over and kick Charles out of the car on a Miami freeway; they then go deliver the money to Emily so that she can get her life back on track.

All seems well and good until Michael goes to his mom’s house looking for Jesse, but he is not there and his mom is heading to Tampa to visit a friend until Michael is finished lying to Jesse about everything.  Michael finally gets a call from Barrett to let him know that he is in town and will be in touch to make the exchange for the bible.  Same does some recon and finds out that Barrett bought an army of 15 men with him and will probably hire some locals, they are going to work to find out where he is staying.

The episode gets intense when Fiona goes to Michael’s house only to have Jesse pull a gun on her; Jesse talked to his old boss Marv and got the security footage from the day he was burned.  He saw Michael Westen leaving the scene, and tells Fiona (at gunpoint) that he can deal with Michael lying to him about burning him but he expected more out of her.  Fiona tries to explain herself, but Jesse is not hearing it, he cocks back the trigger while Fiona closes her eyes in anticipation of being killed.  Jesse can’t do it and flees the scene; Fiona calls Michael and tells him that Jesse knows everything.  Michael looks in disbelief and as he asks Fiona where Jesse is, she has no idea and Michael now has to deal with another unknown factor because Jesse promised to put a bullet in the person that burned him!
