Michael, Madeline, and Fiona are heading out for a boat ride when they are stopped by men on several motorcycles; she finds out that it was from her contact that she reached out to.  She ends up meeting a guy named Armand who she has a history with, and he agrees to help her find out who built the bomb her and Michael are looking for, but she has to help him retrieve some ammunition from an armed weapons manufacturing facility.

Sam is against the idea initially, but finally agrees because agent Pearce has Michael on a top secret mission for him.  Agent Pearce tells Michael that she wants to re-focus the murder investigation back in Miami because that is where the murder took place.  In the meantime she gives Michael a mission to kidnap an asset in the Caribbean, and they allow him to bring Jessie along with him and agent Pearce to extract Steve Cahill.

They catch up with Cahill making an exchange with some mercenaries, and back in Miami Fiona is scouting out the weapons manufacturer’s facility.  Sam goes in and scouts the facility to find out how heavy the security is, and it’s fairly heavy and going to cause an issue unless they can get past all of the guards.

Michael and Jessie manage to catch and drug Cahill when he is heading back to his boat, but they get trapped because the mercenaries who were dealing with Cahill are mobilizing for something big.  They are between Michael’s team and the boat they were going to use to get away, so Michael and the team have to figure out how to get past them.  They decide to pose as covert agents sent by the companies that hired the mercenaries in the first place, they go and take out the communications satellite being used by the mercenaries so they won’t be able to verify their identities.

Michael then puts his plan into action and approaches the mercenaries as private security for the Pyramid group, and they are able to sell the story that they are doing a security check of the island.  They almost were shot in the process, but the mercenaries bought their story for now.  Michael and the team are able to separate the mercenaries into smaller units so that they will have a better chance of stealing the files that they saw them trade with Cahill.  When they get there they find that the man who put everything together sent his own team to retrieve the files, and the leader of the mercenaries realizes that Michael and his team are fakes.

Fiona and same have Madeline plant a smoke bomb in the bathroom of the weapons depot by acting as if her car broke down.  They set it off and cause a fire by having it react with the sprinklers and a few other materials they put together.  Her and Sam drive in while the guard are all occupied on what caused the fire, Fiona is able to hot wire the truck with the ammunition and they drive out to meet with Armand.

Michael is able to talk the leader of the mercenaries (Vanderwall) into going to confront his boss because he is being scammed.  Vanderwall decides to get to the bottom of why his boss sent a team of commandos to get the file, so they head to meet him and all hell breaks loose.  Vanderwall ends up killing his boss, and assuming command of his men.  Michael tells him that they Pyramid Group will pay him nicely for getting the files, and Vanderwall demands a meeting with Michael’s boss.  Agent Pearce calls what Vanderwall thinks is the Pyramid Group to arrange a meeting, but they end up meeting CIA agents and they are convinced to disarm before that fact is revealed.

Fiona drops off the truck to Armand for the information about the bomb maker that Michael needed to find, but Armand tries to convince Fiona she deserves better than Michael.  He also tells her that although she spared the guards when they stole the truck, the man the truck was intended for was killed because he did not deliver it to his customers.  Fiona leaves with the information, but has some thoughts in her mind about her and Michael’s relationship.
